Hi I’m Shannon,

I have been in the hair industry for 27 years.

I am a wife and mother of three, wellbeing advocate and passionate curly hair specialist, I use a range of internationally recognized methods and products to cut, style and care for your unique curls.

At age 24, after not feeling well for about a year, I discovered my body was overloaded, malnourished and deteriorating from the burden of toxins as a result of six years of hairdressing.

Under the guidance of an integrative doctor, I embarked on my journey back to health and along this path I made the switch to chemical free hairdressing.

I do continual research to ensure I’m using the cleanest range possible in the world. When I moved to Cairns in 2008 there wasn’t any chemical free salons to work in, so after meeting the man I wanted to marry we started a salon from home which has now grown into a purpose built salon and a business employing 2 gorgeous apprentices.

My passion lies in naturally curly hair, I’m constantly advancing my skills and learning all that I can about curls, kinks and coils with the very best from around the world.

I do only take on new clients who are curly.

Is our third year apprentice who has moved down here to do her apprenticeship with us from Atherton.

Laura will be working in the salon Monday to Thursday and working late on Monday nights. She is perfecting her skills this year being in her final stages.
